During his career, Mr. Rowe has developed and implemented financial strategies and systems that enabled the rapid growth of an injection molding company from $10 million in sales to $125 million in less than four years as Chief Financial Officer of TriQuest Precision Plastics, Inc.
For the last 10 years, Mr. Rowe has served as CEO/Chief Restructuring Officer, for a diverse group of under- performing companies, accomplishing returns to profitability and successful restructuring.
Mr. Rowe was a Senior Tax Manager at Arthur Andersen & Company before leaving to serve as a Chief Financial Officer of a large diversified holding company, including forest products, ranching, manufacturing and residential and commercial real estate development.
Mr. Rowe holds a Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark College, Northwestern School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Oregon State University. He is a CPA and attorney.
Robert L. Goodman President of American Medical Concepts, Inc. (AMC)
Robert L Goodman is President and co-founder of American Medical Concepts, Inc. (AMC), the largest multi-specialty Orthopedic and Neuro/Spine distribution company in the NW region of the US. Mr. Goodman is also the co-founder of Synergy Medical. He sits on the President Advisory Council for Stryker-the largest Orthopedic company in the world. Mr. Goodman has an extensive background in the acquisition, operation and growth of companies with many separate venture and angel round investments.
Mr. Goodman sits on the board of directors of Sagacity Media and the board of the Portland Center Stage for performing arts. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of Washington.
Barbara Gaffney Management Consultant, former Executive at Xiotech Corp, Tektronix, Sequent Computer Systems
Barbara Gaffney has over 25 years of executive leadership and management experience in a variety of areas in rapidly changing, global, high tech environments. Ms. Gaffney was a founding member of Sequent Computer Systems where she held various roles as the company evolved from the start-up phase to a profitable, global, publicly traded company over a period of 16 years.
Ms. Gaffney has extensive experience in planning and leading Cross Functional teams in areas such as Strategic Planning, Goal Setting and Alignment, Breakthrough Problem Solving and Implementation programs, Acquisitions and Divestitures, Strategic Alliances and Partnerships. She is a former Examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
She is served on numerous Non Profit boards in the Portland area. Ms. Gaffney is a graduate of Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and International Relations.
John Crudele Retired Healthcare Executive, former Executive at Stockamp & Associates, Andersen Consulting
John Crudele has over 30 years of executive leadership and management experience in the healthcare industry. Mr. Crudele was a Partner at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), an international management, consulting and technology firm. He built healthcare consulting practices in Portland, Oregon and Nashville Tennessee. He also created a unique “At Risk” service model for improving hospital revenue cycle performance for clients.
As a Partner at Stockamp & Associates (now part of Huron Consulting), Mr. Crudele was responsible for “new services” development and expansion of existing hospital revenue cycle service delivery beyond the West Coast for this niche consulting company. Mr. Crudele was involved in the development of methodology, tools, training, recruiting, project execution, and client relationships.
Mr. Crudele possesses degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Business from Oregon State University.
Dennis McNannay Executive Director, Oregon Bioscience Association, (Co-Founder of CrossCurrent)
Mr. McNannay has 25 years' experience in various technology and early stage companies. He is currently Executive Director of the Oregon Bioscience Association where he promotes the growth and quality of the Oregon bioscience industry. Mr. McNannay is a Co-Founder of CrossCurrent and served as VP of Sales and Marketing and CEO, where he led the company in the development of the company's groundbreaking product suite. He continues to advise the company contributing his deep technical and market knowledge of the company's business.
Prior to CrossCurrent, McNannay founded Infinite Ink in 1996, which sold in 2000. He has previously sold or licensed technology to Adobe, Macromedia, AOL, Apple, Crystal Reports, US West, Lotus and others. McNannay has spoken on entrepreneurship before the Library of Congress, Wharton School of Business, the Oregon Entrepreneurs Forum and various local universities.
Mr. McNannay holds a degree in Business Administration (Finance) from Portland State University.
Harry Demorest Retired Executive, former Executive at Columbia Forest Products, Arthur Andersen
Mr. Demorest has decades of experience in business and finance. He is currently the Board Secretary of Columbia Forest Products (Portland, Oregon); he was the company's CEO for more than 10 years until he retired in 2007. He also served as Office Managing Partner at Arthur Andersen and Co. (Portland, Oregon), from 1981 to 1991.
Mr. Demorest has served on the boards of directors of many civic and charitable organizations, including the Portland Development Commission (chair), OMSI (chair), the City Club of Portland (president), the Oregon Symphony Orchestra (Vice President of Board), the Oregon State University Business Advisory Council (chair), and many others. Mr. Demorest was appointed to the Oregon Investment Council by Governor Kulongoski on December 12, 2005, and confirmed by the Oregon Senate on January 19, 2006. He is currently chair of that organization.
Mr. Demorest has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University and a M.S. in Industrial Administration from Purdue University.
Rodger Adams Senior Partner- Veber Partners
Rodger Adams specializes in mergers, acquisitions, and merchant banking as a Senior Partner for Veber Partners. Mr. Adams was with PacifiCorp Financial Services in Portland and New York City for seven years, and was a Managing Director of merchant banking and commercial finance when he left to join Veber Partners in 1994. Earlier, he was with Security Pacific Bank/Oregon Bank in international and commercial banking. Mr. Adams began his professional career as an instructor and research advisor at the University of Oregon and the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology and was an environmental and land-use planner.
Rodger serves on the boards of CRU DataPort, NW Polymers, and CrossCurrent. Mr. Adams has also served on the boards of Pony Lumber Company, International Composites Corporation, the Lutheran Family Service Foundation, and Associated Oregon Industries.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Humboldt State University, and both a Masters degree in Geography and an MBA in Finance from the University of Oregon. He holds a Series 7 and Series 63 securities registration with FINRA.
